New York Expressive Arts directions

OUR STUDIO IS LOCATED at 4 Central Avenue, Albany, N.Y., just above Lark Street. It is easily reached via the NYS Thruway, the Northway and I-90. For a Mapquest map to New York Expressive Arts please click here.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: There is no longer free parking available at 208 Washington Ave, the lot directly across from the studio. Your car will be towed unless you purchase a $5 parking pass and display it on your dashboard.

FREE PARKING IS AVAILABLE ON THE STREET on weekends and after 6 p.m. on weekdays (two-hour metered parking at other times).

IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO FIND STREET PARKING, there is also free parking in a lot behind 4 Central Avenue, which can be accessed as follows:
• If you are approaching from the corner of Lark St. and Central Ave., take a left onto Lark St. heading north. Go to next traffic light and take a left on to Elk St. Enter the 2nd parking lot on your left.
• If you are approaching from I-90 (east or west), take exit 6 (Arbor Hill). Follow Henry Johnson Blvd. and at 3rd traffic light (Sheridan St.) take a left, then go one block. Take a right on Lark St, go one block and take a right on to Elk St. Park in the 2nd parking lot on your left.

TO ENTER THE BUILDING: Walk over to Lark (50 feet) and then up to the corner of Lark and Central and turn right to #4 Central, large pink brick building with green trim. Enter through front doors (these are typically unlocked during all NYEA programs). You may also use the side door located on Lark St. after obtaining the security code from the facilitator of the class.
